On December 15, 2022, a creative meeting with Nikolai Bayrachny and Yuri Gudinovich took place in the Leonid Shchemelev City Art Gallery as part of the exhibition of decorative sculpture "Unmodern art – 22".
Nikolai Bayrachny and Yuri Gudinovich, members of the creative association "Koynya", call their art "not modern". Artists do not chase fleeting fashion, they know that people with decent cultural experience appreciate tradition.
The exhibits of the exhibition "Unmodern art – 22" are self-sufficient in an aesthetic and conceptual sense. Each decorative sculpture is a fascinating story, a fairy tale, a legend, in which there is a mystery behind the obvious meaning.
As part of the creative meeting, N. Bayrachny and Y. Gudinovich conducted a tour of the exhibition of decorative sculpture "Unmodern art – 22", told about the peculiarities of their work, shared stories of the creation of works, revealed the ideas hidden in the compositions, and the guests of the meeting had the opportunity to communicate with artists and ask questions.
